PM Modi became prime minister twice because of the misunderstanding of Akhilesh and Mayawati: Owaisi
- AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that Narendra Modi became the PM twice due to the misunderstanding of Akhilesh (SP) and Mayawati (BSP).
- On the second day of his visit to UP, he rubbished opponents' allegations that he was projected as a vote-cutter in the politically important state.
- A day after launching his party's campaign for the upcoming assembly elections from Rudauli in Ayodhya, Owaisi was addressing a public meeting at Odra village in Sultanpur district.
- Owaisi said, "It is said that if Owaisi will fight, he will cut votes. How BJP won from Sultanpur in Lok Sabha elections in 2019, then Owaisi was not contesting."
- He added, "Did Akhilesh Yadav say that Hindus did not vote because they lost? Why does he tell Muslims that they did not vote, are Muslims a prisoner?"
