
Negotiations fail, farmers threaten long demonstration in front of Haryana govt office
- Talks with the state govt of farmers protesting against the police lathi charge of August 28 have failed.
- These farmers said that their talks with the state government are in vain for the second day in a row and they can hold a long demonstration in Karnal.
- Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said, "We can protest here permanently like Singhu and Tikri border."
- Tikait said, "Today we had a meeting for 3 hours with the administration. The govt is not ready to take any action against SDM (Ayush Sinha)."
- "So, we have decided that our protest will continue, our protest site will remain the same. We want action against the officer", he further added.
