Inflation continues to hit the general public, Hindustan Unilever makes goods expensive by 14%
- Amid the Coronavirus crisis, the ever-increasing inflation remains a problem for the general public, Hindustan Unilever has made its products expensive.
- Hindustan Unilever has increased the prices of Surf Excel, Rin, Lifeboy. All these items are most commonly used in rural India.
- 1 kg packet of Surf Excel Easy has been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 114 now. The company said that raw materials are getting expensive.
- Rin soap has been made 6.25 percent expensive, Lux soap by 12 percent, Rin powder by 8 percent. The powder will now be available at Rs 58 per kg.
