Uttarakhand: BJP MLA who reached CM Dhami's program clashes with party workers

  • Politics has intensified in Uttarakhand regarding the assembly elections. The internal discord in the ruling BJP is now clearly visible even outside.
  • There was a program to inaugurate CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in Raipur, Dehradun, where BJP MLA Umesh Sharma Kau was already present. Seeing the state's Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, he got furious.
  • He told Rawat's workers to stay in their place. Affer this, the workers of Dhan Singh Rawat clashed with the MLA and sloganeering started from both sides. The MLA threatened to leave the program midway.
  • It is being told that Umesh Kau, with whom he fought, is a member of the district panchayat and has been in the party for a long time. There has been a tussle between both the leaders.
  • While complaining to Dhan Singh Rawat, Umesh Kau said, "BJP supporters here do not consider me their MLA, they tear my poster."
