- NIA has made a shocking revelation in its charge sheet that the Antilia bomb scare was planned by dismissed Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze.
- Citing the reason, the NIA unveiled that Waze wanted to establish himself as a supercop by planning a terrorist threat and staging an encounter.
- The charge sheet further added that the encounter specialist, Sachin Waze wanted to “regain his clout” as an ace detective.
- NIA alleged that Waze himself planned the explosive-laden car at Antilia. Apart from that, 9 others were also listed as the accused.
- These include three dismissed police officers and one retired police officer, and the slayers who were hired to kill Mansukh Hiren.
