Farmers and labour organizations related to RSS announces a nationwide protest against the policies of Center
- The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, affiliated to the RSS, has announced a nationwide demonstration on September 8 regarding the problems related to farmers.
- Badrinath Choudhary, General Secretary of the Indian Farmers Association, said in the press conference, "In August, we held a meeting with the representatives of all the provinces and discussed the issues related to the farmers."
- "Tomorrow i.e. on September 8, we will hold a nationwide protest. Under this demonstration, there will be a symbolic dharna in 500 districts", he further added.
- Choudhary said, "A memorandum will be given to the administration in all the districts. We demand that the farmers get the right price. We demand remunerative price for the crops of the farmers."
- He said that traders buy crops from farmers according to their own accord, the government announces MSP but payment is done in 6 months.
