
Modi government spent Rs 2300 crore only on advertising within three years
- Amid the Corona epidemic, where the country's economy has derailed, the expenditure on advertisements has been increased by the government.
- According to the data released by the govt, between 2018 and 2021, Rs 2299.9 crore has been spent on advertising.
- In 2018-19, BJP spent the maximum amount of Rs 1182.17 crore. In 2020-21 the health ministry spent the maximum amount of Rs 71.70 crore.
- These figures were sought by NCP MP Dr. Faizia Khan from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the Rajya Sabha. I&B minister Anurag Thakur has given this information.
- Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak said, "This govt does not have the money to waive the loans of farmers, but has billions of rupees for advertising."
