Union Minister Narayan Rane's driver dies on duty, wife accuses murder

  • The case of the death of the driver engaged in the duty of Union Minister Narayan Rane is increasing continuously.
  • Ashok Kumar Verma was posted as a driver in the State Property Department when Rane came to Lucknow recently. He was put on duty with him.
  • It is being told that during this time Ashok's health deteriorated and by the time he died on the way to the hospital, doctors have reported heart attack as the cause of death.
  • Wife Rajni alleged that Ashok was ill and on medical leave but he was called after threatening to suspend him.
  • ACP Raghavendra Mishra said, "There was no information about Ashok's illness, an investigation is being done, only then further action will be taken."
