'Javed Akhtar completely wrong': Shiv Sena comes to the rescue of RSS when compared to Taliban
- The ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra has completely disagreed with the statement of famous lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar comparing the RSS with the Taliban.
- Coming openly in favour of RSS in this matter, Shiv Sena said, "Javed Akhtar was completely wrong while comparing these two."
- It further added, “How can you say that those who support the concept of Hindu Rashtra are of Talibani mentality? We do not agree with this."
- Expressing its opinion in favour of the RSS, the party said, "For example, the Sangh did not support religious hysteria on the beef issue."
- He said that no hysteria in the name of Hindutva is accepted here...neither Shiv Sena nor RSS should support it.
