Formation of Taliban govt: Invitation to six countries including Pakistan, China, Turkey to participate, no contact with India
- After claiming occupation of all the provinces of Afghanistan, the Taliban have decided to form a government soon.
- In view of this, the organization has also sent invitations to China, Pakistan, Russia, Iran, Qatar and Turkey for the program of government formation.
- It is clear from the invitation of the Taliban that the governments of these countries have already contacted the organization.
- Significantly, China, Russia, Turkey and Pakistan have continued their work in their embassies as before. However, the Taliban has not had any official contact with India so far.
- A day earlier, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid announced the suspension of government formation until next week.
