
Mayawati praises Hindu-Muslim communal harmony in Kisan Mahapanchayat, said - 'will heal wounds of riots in SP govt'
- BSP supremo Mayawati lauded the efforts of Hindu-Muslim communal harmony during the Kisan Mahapanchayat in Muzaffarnagar, UP on Monday.
- This will surely help in healing the deep wounds of the 2013 riots in the Samajwadi Party government.
- She tweeted, "Efforts for Hindu-Muslim communal harmony in the farmers' Mahapanchayat held yesterday in Muzaffarnagar district of UP is also very much appreciated."
- Mayawati said, "This certainly helped a little in healing the deep wounds of the horrific riots in the SP govt in 2013. But it will also make many uncomfortable."
- She said, "Farmers are the pride of the country and their political ground, sown by the hatred of the BJP, has started slipping away from the platform for Hindu-Muslim brotherhood with slogans raised for communal harmony."
