UP: ADG's PRO beats BJP leader with rifle butt, case registered
- BJP leader Anuj Mahendra Soni was killed by the PRO of ADG Law and Order with the butt of a rifle in Lucknow.
- According to the information received, Mahendra was getting the sewer line work done. The PRO of ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar attacked the neighborhood itself.
- Mahendra lodged a case in Hazratganj police station and said, "PRO Ajay Trivedi called all the people, son took out rifle to shoot."
- The police have registered a case under sections 307, 323, 395, 504, 506, and asked to investigate.
- Police Commissioner DK Thakur said, whoever the accused may be, in any post, if he has done wrong then action will be taken against him.
