Govt should disclose the revenue of properties, do not adopt a dual policy in monetization- P Chidambaram
- Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram attacked the government.
- Chidambaram has questioned the Centre's National Monetization Pipeline plan.
- In a press conference, he said that when Congress was in power, it monetized such assets which were running in losses.
- He said, "But, the policy of the Modi govt is opposite. Congress did not consider the property as a monopoly and monetization was done by setting the standard."
- He added, "Congress never monetized strategically important assets. The government has a plan to stop the theft of whatever we have made in so many years."
