CBI raids 19 places in connection with irregularities in JEE Main exam, incriminating documents and equipment recovered
- The CBI conducted raids at 19 places in connection with alleged manipulation of JEE (Mains) examination by private institution Affinity Education Pvt Ltd and its directors.
- The officers provided this information. The agency had registered a case in this regard on Wednesday and conducted raids after the examination was over on Thursday.
- Officials said that CBI teams conducted raids at 19 places in Delhi-National Capital Region, Pune, Jamshedpur, Indore and Bengaluru.
- CBI spokesperson RC Joshi said, "During the raids, 25 laptops, seven PCs, about 30 checks of later date as well as PDC mark sheets of various students were found in large numbers."
- It is alleged that the directors hatched a conspiracy in connivance with other associates and touts.
