
Supreme Court expresses concern over the content of YouTube channels, said - 'they are running anything'
- Expressing concern about the ever-increasing web portals and YouTube channels in the country, the Supreme Court said, "These people are running anything without accountability."
- Bench Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had filed a petition in the Supreme Court,. According to the petition, fake and provocative talk was spread about Tabligi Jamaat.
- The bench said, "In a part of the news being shown by private channels, there is almost certainly a communal color in the news."
- The bench said that there is no control over web portals and YouTube channels, which is why fake news is easily found on YouTube.
- Chief Justice NV Ramanna said, "Until a law is made on this in this country, everything will be shown with a communal angle."
