"I am the mother of two children" - TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's wife responds to ED summons
- Rujira Banerjee, wife of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, did not appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
- Rujira was asked to appear before the central probe agency on Wednesday.
- In a reply sent to the ED, she has said that she is the mother of two young children.
- Rujira added that she should be exempted from travelling to Delhi amid this period of the Corona epidemic.
- The ED had summoned Rujira to appear in the hawala case related to the coal smuggling case.
