
Koo quickly crosses the 1 crore user mark, soon be made available in Gujarati and Punjabi
- India's multi-language micro-blogging app Koo has crossed 1 crore (10 million) downloads, registering a huge growth since its launch in March 2020.
- The platform now has people from all walks of life - including some prominent faces of film stars and politicians.
- It was also named Google Playstore's Best Daily Essential App for 2020 and was given a special mention by PM Modi in his Mann Ki Baat address.
- Downloads grew rapidly between February and August 2021, with 8.5 million users downloading the Koo app.
- Koo will soon be made available in Gujarati and Punjabi. Currently, it is available in 8 languages - Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali and English.
