Delhi's farmers' protest completes 9 months, becomes the world's longest-running protest

  • The farmers' protest has completed 9 months today and now it will become the world's longest-running protest.
  • There has been a standoff between the farmers and the central government since the last talks on January 22.
  • Now the United Kisan Morcha will organize an All India convention on the Kundli border on 26 and 27 August, in which a blueprint will be prepared to give a new direction to the movement.
  • The farmers went back from the Kundli border and the tents are empty now. Farmer leaders are again engaged in making the movement active.
  • At present, there are about nine-ten thousand farmers on the Kundli border, in which the number of women is around 300-350.
