UP: After Aligarh, names of some more places can be changed, proposals sent
- In Uttar Pradesh, the names of some other places can be changed.
- Now there has been a demand to rename Mirzapur district of Purvanchal as Vindhyadham and name of Miyaganj block of Unnao as Mayaganj.
- Unnao DM Ravindra Kumar has sent a proposal to rename Miyaganj to Mayaganj.
- Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath government minister Ramashankar Singh Patel has demanded to rename Mirzapur as Vindhya Dham.
- Before this, the district panchayats here have also sent proposals to change the names of Aligarh, Mainpuri and Firozabad.
