- The Supreme Court ordered the Legal Services Committee to represent the accused in both cases for molesting the girl child.
- The Supreme Court has asked amicus curiae, Siddharth Dave, to help in this case.
- Attorney General KK Venugopal told the court, "If tomorrow a person wears a pair of surgical gloves and tampers with the body of a woman, he will not be punished for sexual harassment as per the judgment of Bombay HC."
- The top court found that no one appeared in the court on behalf of the accused in both the cases included in the Bombay High Court judgment.
