  • The mortal remains of Kalyan Singh, former CM of Uttar Pradesh, were cremated with full state honors on the banks of river Ganga at Narora in Bulandshahr district on Monday.
  • Rajveer Singh, son of Kalyan Singh and BJP MP from Etah, lit the fire amid slogans of "Jai Shri Ram" and "Kalyan Singh Amar Rahe".
  • Minister of State Sandeep Singh, grandson of Kalyan Singh, also participated in the firefighting process.
  • The body of Kalyan Singh reached Narora with a long convoy from the guest house of the Public Works Department at Atrauli in Aligarh in the afternoon.
  • Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Atrauli in Aligarh on Monday and paid tribute to Kalyan Singh and said that he was buried, crushed by his death.
