Caste census: CM Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav will meet PM Modi today
- Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav will meet today on the issue of caste census. Both the leaders have demanded caste census.
- Just before this meeting, on Sunday evening, the BJP made it clear that it is in principle in support of the issue of caste census.
- Nitish Kumar will head an all-party committee of ten parties today, which also includes BJP minister Janak Ram and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.
- Ahead of the Delhi visit, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has once again reiterated his point about the caste census and has said that at least once the census of castes should be done.
- BJP leader Sushil Modi said that in the year 2011, BJP's Gopinath Munde had presented the party's side in Parliament in favour of the caste census.
