Important meeting at PM's residence amid changing situation in Afghanistan, Shah and FM present
- PM Narendra Modi today reviewed the govt's strategy to evacuate Indian nationals from Afghanistan at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security.
- Earlier, PM Modi had also presided over a meeting on Tuesday evening. In this, the authorities were directed to provide help for the speedy evacuation of Indians stranded in Afghanistan over the next few days.
- In the meeting held on the previous day, talks were held on the ongoing changes in Afghanistan.
- Along with this, there was also a discussion on bringing Indians trapped in Afghanistan and operating an embassy there.
- According to information received from sources, the process of government formation in Afghanistan is currently being monitored by India.
