Demonetisation, GST and agriculture laws were brought to break the back of the economy: Rahul Gandhi

  • Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that the central government has broken the back of the Indian economy by bringing demonetisation first, then GST and now agriculture laws.
  • At an event in Thiruvambadi, Kerala, the Congress leader said that these laws have been prepared to weaken the informal sector of the economy.
  • Rahul, MP from Wayanad, said that the government has brought all the three laws thoughtfully, the effect of which has been that the country is not able to employ the youth.
  • He said that there is a system of buying farmer's produce and there are some flaws in that system that should be improved but the government is destroying it.
  • He said that the agricultural laws will have a direct impact not only on the farmers but on the middle class of the country and on the social and economic stability of the country.
