Aligarh to be renamed as Harigarh? Exercise intensified once again to change the names of cities in UP
- Aligarh can be renamed Harigarh. The proposal to change the name has been passed in the meeting of Aligarh District Panchayat.
- The meeting of the newly formed Aligarh District Panchayat was held on Monday. A proposal to rename Aligarh as Harigarh was moved.
- In the district panchayat meeting, a proposal was also passed to rename Dhanipur airport after Kalyan Singh.
- Block Pramukh Pati Kohari Singh and Block Chief Umesh Yadav had proposed to rename Aligarh as Harigarh.
- If it is passed, then this proposal will be sent to the government in Lucknow.
