First death due to delta plus variant of coronavirus in Mumbai, health department alert
- The havoc of Coronavirus continues in the country. The first death from the Delta Plus variant of the coronavirus has occurred in Mumbai.
- The deceased is a 63-year-old woman who had taken both doses of the vaccine. The woman had many problems including diabetes.
- Dr. Mangala Gomare, Head of the Mumbai Health Department said that the woman was suffering from interstitial lung and obstructive airway.
- Initially the woman was kept on oxygen support at home, later she died on 27th July.
- After the incident, once again the health department has become alert. The state government has also come into alert mode.
