
Mumbai: Ex-police commissioner Parambir Singh's trouble increases, lookout notice issued
- A lookout circular has been issued against former Mumbai Police Commissioner and Director General of Home Guards Parambir Singh and others.
- A case of extortion is registered against 28 including Parambir Singh in Thane Nagar police station. In the same, this circular has been issued against him.
- This case is related to the recovery of Rs 1.25 crore between 2018 and February 2019. At that time Parambir Singh was the police commissioner of Thane.
- Thane Police Commissioner said that on July 30 a case of extortion was registered against Parambir Singh and 27 others at Thane Nagar police station.
- It is alleged that the police along with gangster Ravi Pujari made a fake case and after that, for not taking action, 1 crore 25 lakh from Ketan Tanna, Rs 3 crore 45 lakh from Sonu Jalan and Rs 1 crore 50 from Kiran Mala was taken.
