Ruckus during discussion on General Insurance Amendment Bill, opposition MPs tore the copy of the bill and threw it
- During the discussion on the General Insurance Amendment Bill in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha.
- Some MPs of the opposition tore the copy of the bill and threw it on the chair. Due to this, the proceedings were interrupted.
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced this bill in the house, which was opposed by the opposition.
- RJD MP Manoj Jha said that the whole country is watching how the General Insurance Bill is being brought.
- MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy said, "We oppose the General Insurance Amendment Bill."
