
Naidu becomes emotional in the midst of the stormy monsoon session, said – 'I am very sad about what is happening in Parliament'
- Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu turned emotional on Wednesday amid a tumultuous monsoon session of Parliament. He seemed troubled by the disruptions in Parliament.
- Naidu denounced the behaviour of the opposition in the House for the continuous disruption of the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha and was saddened by the Parliament.
- Naidu said, "Yesterday when some members came to the table, the dignity of the House was hurt and I could not sleep the whole night."
- On the constant demand of the opposition, the Rajya Sabha chairman said, "You cannot force the government to do what it does, what not?"
- According to sources, the Chairman of Rajya Sabha can take action against the MPs who created ruckus in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
