The Supreme Court has given an important decision on criminalization in elections.
SC has said that political parties should inform the public about the criminal history of their candidates within 48 hours of selection.
Reacting to this, Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the criminal cases against the candidates are known to the public.
She further added that if the right change is to be brought then electoral reform should be brought.
"Initiating in bits and pieces won't do... massive election reforms are needed to stop criminalization", said Priyanka.
