Hinduism is in danger: BJP MLA's allegation, the situation in Mumbai has become like Bengal
- BJP MLA Nitesh Rane said the situation in Mumbai is similar to that of West Bengal, where the Durga Puja festival was banned.
- He said that it is difficult for Ganesh Utsav Mandals to celebrate this festival as per the new rules of the State Government.
- Rane said, "We have conveyed our concerns to the Governor." He also accused the Uddhav Thackeray govt of the state.
- He further added, "Sometime back other religious festivals were being celebrated, they did not face any problem. So why only Hindus?"
- He said, "Hinduism is in danger. We have asked the governor to protect our festival otherwise the Thackeray government will end this festival gradually."
