The Bommai govt of Karnataka has given facilities to former CM BS Yediyurappa as a cabinet minister. These facilities will continue till Bommai is the CM.
The order was issued by the Under Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) on Saturday.
The order of the Protocol Wing of the DPAR mentions that as long as the current CM Basavaraj Bommai continues, Yeddyurappa will continue to get all the facilities of a cabinet-level minister.
According to official sources, a cabinet rank minister gets some allowances and facilities including vehicles, official accommodation.
Yediyurappa can now continue to use a government bungalow, vehicle, 11 employees and security have been provided by the govt.
