
Cowards- P Chidambaram on Indian newspapers removing news related to Pegasus case
- Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister P Chidambaram has said that the last hope in the Pegasus espionage case now rests on the Supreme Court.
- He added, "Indian newspapers have now removed the news related to the case from their pages." He has termed Indian newspapers as cowards.
- Chidambaram tweeted, "The world does not read those timid Indian newspapers who have removed this news from their pages a few days later."
- He said, "The ECONOMIST magazine has reported that India is among ten countries that had, in all, a potential list of 50,000 telephone numbers out of which hundreds of numbers were infiltrated."
- "NSO Group admitted to have 40 countries and 60 agencies as its clients", said Chidambaram.
