Did any corona patient die due to lack of oxygen in the country? 12 out of 13 states said- 'No'
- 13 states have received the reply of the Health Ministry of the deaths due to lack of oxygen in the patients of Covid-19.
- In this, 12 states have not accepted even a single death due to lack of oxygen. At the same time, Punjab has considered 4 deaths as suspicious.
- In the remaining 12 states, no one died due to a lack of oxygen. These states are – Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Assam, Ladakh, J&K, Sikkim, Tripura, Jharkhand, HP, Andhra Pradesh.
- After the uproar over the statement of the Ministry of Health in Parliament, instructions were given to the states to share this data on behalf of the Union Health Ministry.
- Efforts are to be made to keep the data of oxygen deaths in the states in Parliament during the monsoon session itself.
