Many political parties are not raising farmers' issues in Parliament: United Kisan Morcha
- The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Thursday said that many political parties are participating in the debate on various bills in the Parliament.
- It said that the parties are insulting the public by not raising the demands of the farmers in Parliament.
- SKM said in a statement, "It has come to notice that various political parties and their MPs are going against the whip issued by the public."
- It added, "It is seen that Biju Janata Dal, Telangana Rashtra Samithi, YSR Congress Party MPs from AIADMK, TDP, JDU are taking part in the debates on various bills bypassing the whip of the people."
- It is worth noting that the organizations of 40 farmer groups, led by SKM, are protesting against the three new agricultural laws of the Center.
