
Situation gets worse in the outskirts of Agra: Floods make people homeless, settled on the dunes
- Chambal River is flowing five meters above the danger mark in the Bah tehsil area of Agra district.
- The water level of the Chambal river rose to 135.70 meters on Thursday. While the danger mark is at 130 meters.
- The floodwaters have entered many nearby villages. Homes and schools have been submerged.
- Administration teams are busy evacuating people from the villages to reach a safe place.
- People from over 12 flood-affected villages in Pinahat have spent the night in panic with their innocent children and pets on the high hills of the ravine.
