BJP people don't make 'manifesto' but 'manifesto': Akhilesh Yadav
- SP chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that seeing the displeasure of the people of UP with the ruling BJP, it seems likely that the SP will win 400 seats in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
- The SP president claimed this in a press conference before starting his cycle yatra against the policies of the BJP government.
- He said, "The govt has failed on every issue. Till now we used to speak 350 but the kind of resentment that is among the public, maybe."
- He added, "Let us win 400 seats. Today the situation is such that the candidates will fall short with the BJP. The candidates will not ask for tickets at all."
- He said in a rally in Mirzapur, "Amit Shah had said that the BJP govt of the state has fulfilled every promise of the party's election manifesto released in the year 2017. But, the truth is that the BJP has not even opened its manifesto yet."
