Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker- 'A suspended MP broke glass yesterday, the woman security officer was injured'
- The Monsoon Session of Parliament seems to be witnessing an uproar by the opposition MPs.
- Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned till 12 noon on Thursday.
- When the Rajya Sabha proceedings started at 11 am this morning, the Deputy Chairman said, "Yesterday an unfortunate incident happened."
- He added, "A suspended MP broke the glass, in which the lady security officer was injured. Sukhendu Shekhar Rai opposed it."
- Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, "The glass was broken at that time when the chamber was being closed. I appeal to the MPs not to behave in such a way that the morale of the employees is weakened."
