
Delhi: CM Kejriwal orders a magisterial inquiry into the alleged rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl
- Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday ordered a magisterial inquiry into the alleged rape and murder of a 9-year-old Dalit girl.
- The CM also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the girl's family.
- After meeting the victim's family, he told reporters, "Our baby girl cannot come back."
- He added, "The injustice done to the family is unfortunate and cannot be compensated, but the govt will give a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family and a magistrate will order a probe."
- Letting you know, the parents of the girl are staging a sit-in at the site of the incident in southwest Delhi's Purana Nangal area, demanding capital punishment for the culprits.
