
Delhi Rape Case: CM Kejriwal arrives to meet the victim's family, announces financial help of 10 lakhs
- After the rape of a 9-year-old Dalit girl in Nangal, Delhi by the priest of the cremation ground, the case has gained political attention.
- Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal came to meet the victim's family on Wednesday, during which slogans were also raised against him but he did not give any answer.
- Kejriwal announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the victim's family, as well as asked to get the matter investigated by a magistrate.
- He said, "In this case, the biggest lawyer will be appointed by the govt so that the culprits can be punished severely."
- Before Kejriwal, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also met the family members. He said, "I will stand with the victim till justice is not done."
