"Govt is saying surround me, come talk in the house, but...": Manoj Tiwari retaliates on opposition's attacks
- The BJP has hit back at the opposition's allegations that important issues were not discussed in the Parliament.
- BJP's Lok Sabha member Manoj Tiwari said in a conversation with NDTV that the govt is saying, 'surround me, come talk in the house, listen to the whole country, discuss'.
- "But what kind of gherao is this, in which words are not coming out, there is no issue at all", he added.
- Tiwari said, "It is known that there is a deadlock between the govt and the opposition over discussion on many important issues like Pegasus espionage, inflation, farmers' movement."
- He said, "In the question hour of today's monsoon session, 7 questions were asked from the farmers and they were not even ready to listen. Even at that time, they are making noise."
