
Aam Aadmi Party govt in Delhi increases the salary of MLAs by 70 percent: BJP
- BJP has attacked the Aam Aadmi Party over the decision to increase the salary of MLAs in Delhi.
- BJP MLA Vijender Gupta alleged that AAP is making misrepresentation on the increase in the salary and allowances of MLAs in Delhi.
- Senior Delhi BJP leader Vijender Gupta said that he condemns the statement of the Aam Aadmi Party in the matter of salary hikes.
- The AAP said that the salary which was to be ₹ 2,10,000 in the proposal sent to the central govt, has been rejected and it has been made Rs 90,000 per month.
- It added, "Whereas the reality is that the salary has been increased from Rs 54,000 to Rs 90,000 which is an increase of more than 70% now."
