Pegasus espionage case to be heard in Supreme Court on August 5 on the petition of journalists, claims of infiltration

  • Journalists say the unauthorized use of surveillance by government agencies has violated their fundamental rights.
  • The petitioners urged the apex court to issue a direction to the Center for all disclosures in the investigation related to the use of Pegasus.
  • They have alleged that they were subjected to intense infiltration and hacking by the government or any other third party.
  • A bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana and Surya Kant will hear the cases related to the Pegasus espionage case on August 5.
