Bihar CM Nitish Kumar demands investigation in Pegasus Espionage Scandal
- The leader of Janata Dal-United, an ally in the NDA government, and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has demanded an investigation into the Pegasus espionage case.
- Nitish has already expressed concern about this matter. On the question related to the demand for an investigation, the Bihar CM said, 'Absolutely (investigation) should be done'.
- He said, "The talk of telephone tapping has been coming for so long, it must be discussed. We asked on the very first day itself."
- "Nowadays, I do not know who will do all this in many ways, on this, looking at each and everything, appropriate steps should be taken, according to me", he added.
- Nitish said, "What has happened or not, this is what some people in the Parliament are saying. And coming in the newspaper, that is what we see, whatever it is there should be a thorough investigation."
