
"Signs of goodwill"- Assam withdraws case against Mizoram MP
- Amid the ongoing tension between Assam and Mizoram over the border dispute, there have also been signs of goodwill and softening.
- Assam has withdrawn the case registered against Mizoram MP K Vanlalvena, taking initiative to increase goodwill between the two states and bring normalcy in relations.
- Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has also said that he is ready to face the case registered against him in Mizoram.
- He said, "If summoned from Mizoram, we will go there and are also ready to give arrest."
- Sarma has directed the police officers of Assam to withdraw the FIR against Mizo National Front leader and Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalwena.
