Unnao rape victim accuses private security officers of harassment, reaches court
- In the Unnao rape case, the victim has filed a petition in a Delhi court alleging harassment by the personal security personnel (PSOs) deployed in her security on the directions of the High Court.
- District and Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma directed the investigating officer of the CBI to submit an impact assessment report in this regard with the help of the local police.
- The judge said through video conference on July 31, "The petition has been filed on behalf of the complainant that she and her family members are being harassed by the PSO posted on the directions of the court."
- The judge further added, "It is in this context that they are not letting him enjoy his freedom."
- He said that a sealed envelope has also been received from the police in which certain allegations have been made about the complainant and his family members.
