
'Border dispute will be resolved through mutual dialogue', after Amit Shah's intervention- Assam-Mizoram CM talks
- Mizoram CM Zoramthanga after a telephonic discussion with Union HM Amit Shah and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma today said that the border dispute with Assam should be resolved.
- Will be resolved through talks. He appealed to the people of Mizoram not to let the situation deteriorate in any way.
- The Mizoram CM said on Twitter, "As per the telephonic discussions with the Union HM and the CM of Assam, we have agreed to resolve the Mizoram-Assam border issue through a fruitful dialogue."
- Sources in the Mizoram govt said, "Renewed talks have started between the two governments to resolve the border dispute."
