Govt should answer on Pegasus, Parliament proceedings will start from next minute: Congress
- The Congress on Saturday said that Parliament proceedings will start in the next minute if the central government answers some questions on the Pegasus espionage episode.
- The party said that the govt is running away from discussion on the issue as it has a lot to hide.
- Party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi told reporters, "Parliament will run immediately, the next minute it will start running, but one small thing will have to be done by the govt."
- "That is, the government has to answer two questions. First, did the government buy Pegasus spyware?", he asked.
- Singhvi added, "Secondly, whether it was used against a particular person and if yes, give their names."
