- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again taunted the Modi government through a tweet.
- Targeting the extortion tax collection, he wrote, Everything is getting expensive – Consumers are upset."
- Rahul wrote, "Is it getting any benefit to the small producer, shopkeeper or farmer? Not! Because this inflation is the indiscriminate tax collection of the Modi govt."
- Earlier, he had tweeted and said that the foundation of our democracy is that MPs become the voice of the people and discuss the issues of national importance.
- Gandhi had said that the Modi government should not waste more time of Parliament - 'let's talk about inflation, farmers and Pegasus'.
