Bihar: After 4 months, the Speaker of the Assembly admits his mistake - 'Assault on MLAs in the house is unforgivable'
- Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha has admitted that the thrashing of MLAs by the police on March 23 earlier this year was unforgivable.
- There was a special debate on this uproar in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
- After the speech of all the members, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha said that hitting the MLAs with a boot is wrong and it can never be forgiven.
- "If an MLA is hit with a boot, then the legislature has been insulted, not the MLA", he further added.
- Sinha said, "There has been a mistake, there has been an insult, but the insult is not of this seat, but of the House."
