Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha has admitted that the thrashing of MLAs by the police on March 23 earlier this year was unforgivable.
There was a special debate on this uproar in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
After the speech of all the members, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha said that hitting the MLAs with a boot is wrong and it can never be forgiven.
"If an MLA is hit with a boot, then the legislature has been insulted, not the MLA", he further added.
Sinha said, "There has been a mistake, there has been an insult, but the insult is not of this seat, but of the House."
